The Music

The music of Death By Fetish is  is straight forward, with no studio tricks.  What you hear on the recording is what you'll hear on stage.  Two guitars, a bass, drums and the voice. The lyrics tell the stories of our own lives, and the lives of the people we know.  Songs of rebellion, alienation, anger, triumph and loss.  Often dark, the stories are honest, direct, and occasionally humorous.

The Band

Lead by vocalist / bassist, Jackie Doncaster, Death By Fetish is equally influenced by the riffs of 70s rock and 90s grunge, with a touch of punk.  Guitarists Mike Emmons and Joe Swora collide at full speed, driven by the powerful drumming of Wolfgang Emmons and the overdriven bass tones of Jackie.

The Story

Death By Fetish came into existence in the summer of 2014.  Made up of musicians who turn the volume up to 10 and put 110% of themselves into every show they do.  There's a place for pretty love ballads and easy listening background music, but that place is somewhere other than their stage.  This band leaves politeness behind and makes no apologies for the attitude.
